The widely-used NPM publication Nutrient Management Fast Facts has been revised and is now available. Changes from the previous edition include: 1) nitrogen recommendations for corn based on the maximum return to nitrogen (price-adjusted) approach; 2) phosphorus and potassium recommendations for corn, alfalfa, and soybean that reflect the latest information from the newly released UWEX publication A2809 Nutrient Application Guidelines for Field, Vegetable, and Fruit Crops in Wisconsin; 3) format and content changes in the nutrient removal table consistent with the revised A2809 publication.

Thanks to the Wisconsin CCA Board for their financial support in reprinting this publication. Look for the new Fast Facts in the upcoming Fertilizer Dealer Update Meetings packet. Additional copies are available free of charge by contacting the NPM Program (608-265-2660 or npm@hort.wisc.edu ).
