Keeping Water in our Soil: Iowa County Uplands Watershed Group Farm Tour

An upcoming field day on July 27th in northern Iowa County will provide insight into agronomic management practices that improve water infiltration. The field day will showcase no-till drilling, cover crops, and managed pastures. The field day will include infiltration tests and a soil pit. The field day will begin around 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 12:00 p.m. A complimentary lunch will be served with guest speaker Lance Nacio, a Gulf of Mexico fisherman. The field day is free.
