The following lists many of the common herbicides used in
Wisconsin field crops and their approximate costs.
Prices are listed on both a unit basis and for many of the
frequently used rates. The comments describe if the rate
is for a certain soil type or how the rate compares to the range
of rates recommended on the label. These rates are only a
guide for comparing herbicide costs. Refer to the label
for the exact rate that is required for your situation.
Under the crop heading, the following abbreviations indicate
which herbicide resistant varieties or hybrids can be treated
(CF = Clearfield, LL = Liberty Link, and RR = Roundup Ready).
The herbicide prices are derived primarily from the default
price list within WeedSoft. Your actual prices will vary
depending on container size, date of purchase, and region of the
state. Cost estimates of common adjuvants are listed after
the herbicides. The cost of application is not included in
these prices. Always read the herbicide label for
