Weed scientists at the University of Wisconsin
represent a variety of interests from the basics of weed physiology and
herbicide mode of action to applied weed management in several cropping
systems.
Research topics include basic weed biology, herbicide resistance, cultural
weed management practices including crop rotation and tillage, and chemical weed control.
Herbicide fate in
the environment is also a component of Wisconsin's research program.
