The University of
Wisconsin Departments of Horticulture and Agronomy offer a
complete curriculum in weed science at both the undergraduate
and graduate levels.
Undergraduate weed
science courses provide a basic understanding of weed biology,
their impacts, and management principles.
Graduate programs
leading to the masters of Science degree and Doctor of
Philosophy degree are offered in both Horticulture and Agronomy.
The Farm and Industry
Short Course program is a 16-week program conducted for over 100
years. Weed Identification and Management is offered by
the Agronomy department each winter and students completing the
course will earn the equivalent of 2 undergraduate credits. |
